The 2023 NHL Trade Deadline has passed and we now turn our attention to the Vegas Golden Knight's (36-19-6, 78 points) 7:00 p.m. game against the New Jersey Devils (40-15-5, 85 points) tonight at T-Mobile Arena.

The VGK made four trades and one signing. For all of our analysis on the moves click here. For a recap of what every team has done, click here.

Both Teddy Blueger and Jonathan Quick will make their Golden Knight's debuts, however Quick is not expected to start. It is unknown at this point which Devils players acquired at the deadline (Timo Meier and Curtis Lazar) will be able to play. Meier is currently day-to-day with an injury.

The Golden Knights are coming off a strong one-goal victory over the Carolina Hurricanes where Jack Eichel scored two goals and new VGK player Ivan Barbashev scored a point.

What to Watch For

Teddy Time

The Golden Knights have shuffled their lineup to incorporate shutdown defensive forward Teddy Blueger on the fourth line. Blueger is a defensive minded two way center who has tons of experience of being a reputable defense player. We will see how his play meshes with the VGK's systems tonight.

Jumping Jacks

Since the team returned from All-Star Break, Jack Eichel has been incredible. Last game he scored two goals and he now has ten points in his last eleven games, with seven of them being goals. With Mark Stone out of the lineup, DJ Jack Eichel is leading by example.

Riling Up Reilly

Against the Hurricanes, Reilly Smith scored just his second goal in 22 games. Perhaps the Golden Knight's second-leading goal scorer can continue t break out of his goal drought with another tally against the Devils.
