Golden Knight’s Chandler Stephenson Added To All-Star Game

Vegas Golden Knights forward Chandler Stephenson has been named to the 2023 NHL All-Star Game's roster, replacing Matty Beniers of the Seattle Kraken, who is now out with an upper-body injury. 

Stephenson will join fellow Golden Knights Logan Thompson and Bruce Cassidy in Sunrise, Florida, for All-Star Weekend, which begins on Feb. 3rd at 4:00. He leads the Golden Knights in scoring this season with 44 points, playing all 51 games so far this season. This will be his first-ever All-Star appearance

Although he and the rest of the Golden Knight's star players have gone cold recently, Stephenson has taken the reigns as the Golden Knight's go-to guy on offense several times this season. He is one of the fastest players in the league based on the eye test, and it will be a treat to see him compete against some of the other top skaters in the NHL, such as Connor McDavid and Cale Makar.

Here are the updated rosters. Oddly enough, with Beniers' injury, the Pacific Division-leading Kraken now have no reps in the ASG.
