The Vegas Golden Knights made a few changes to their projected lineup Tuesday in anticipation of their Thursday night game against the Florida Panthers. Both Brayden Pachal and Jake Leschyshyn have been removed from the team's roster. Pachal has been sent to the Henderson Silver Knights, and Leschyshyn will join him if he clears waivers.

Four players have returned from injury for the Golden Knights in the last two games, which allowed the move to be made. Ben Hutton, who did not play in the VGK's last game against the Los Angeles Kings, gives the team six healthy defensemen.

"I thought Brayden (Pachal) did a real good job here when he was asked… we do have six healthy guys. But we know he's not that far away. As with Jake, I think it's just a matter of getting him back to where his games is effective both ways… Hopefully, he gets an opportunity to play down there and get to play with the puck a little bit more. I don't know he might be in the NHL tomorrow with a different team, that's always a chance," said Cassidy.

Additionally, Cassidy made a swap in his forward line combinations by switching Reilly Smith and Paul Cotter on the team's third and first lines, respectively.

The VGK are still without Pavel Dorofeyev, Shea Theodore, Daniil Miromanov, Zach Whitecloud, and Brett Howden due to injuries.
