The grind is about to begin. The Vegas Golden Knights are home for their next seven games which will take them throughout the majority of the month of Janurary. This gives them a perfect opportunity to get healthy, collect points, and improve their lackluster home ice record.

They begin tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7:00 p.m. In the meantime, here's what's happening in the hockey world.

Vegas Golden Knights

Vegas: The seven-game homestand for the Golden Knights could change the course of the season for the team for better or for worse.

Could Laurent Brossoit be brought up during this homestand?

Summerlin: The Golden Knights are starting to get healthier as both Paul Cotter and Jack Eichel returned to practice in full contact Wednesday.

Freemont Street: The Golden Knights have announced details regarding their 2023 Fan Fest, which will be Sunday, January 8th.

World Juniors: The medal games have been set for the 2023 World Juniors. All four Golden Knights prospects have a chance to medal. Team USA will play Carl Lindbom and Sweden for Bronze, and Jakub Brabenec and Matyas Sapovaliv of Team Czechia will play Zach Dean and Canada for Gold.
