#ExpressiveMarkStone has some of the best NHL goal celebrations in the game. What makes his celebrations so special is that you can tell he is acting off pure adrenaline and with raw emotion. Jake Walman of the Detroit Red Wings decided to be a little bit more flashy after scoring the overtime winner against the Pittsburgh Penguins Wednesday night. He hit the 'Griddy,' which is apparently a dance the youngins do these days (I'm 22 and clueless to this).

Here's what's up in the National Hockey League as the Golden Knights return home for a New Year's Eve matinee matchup Saturday.

Vegas Golden Knights

Anaheim: The recap of the Golden Knight's 3-2 shootout loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday.

Alex Pietrangelo played career-high minutes, the VGK had five powerplays and over 50 shots, but they still were defeated in the shootout.

With the NHL Trade Freeze lifted, the Vegas Golden Knights are now free to make NHL trades and transactions once more.

Clip of the Day: Jake Walman had an interesting goal celebration in overtime against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
