According to CapFriendly, the Vegas Golden Knights have sent down three players to the Henderson Silver Knights of the AHL. They are Jonas Rondbjerg, Pavel Dorofeyev, and Brayden Pachal. All of these three played games for the VGK amid injuries.

The official transaction will likely be made once the NHL's holiday roster freeze lifts on Dec. 28.

The return of these three players in Henderson likely means good news for the statuses of some injured Golden Knights players.

The VGK are currently without Jack Eichel (lower-body), Paul Cotter (upper-body), Brett Howden (LTIR), Jonathan Marchessault (lower-body), Shea Theodore (lower-body), and Zach Whitecloud (lower-body).

Based on the timetables that head coach Bruce Cassidy has provided, Eichel, Cotter, Marchessault, and Theodore, could all return soon. Cassidy has listed both Marchessault and Eichel as day-to-day, and Shea Theodore as week-to-week.

Cotter's timetable is unknown, but he took a big hit against the Chicago Blackhawks on Dec. 15, which likely caused his injury, and has been placed on injured reserve, also per CapFriendly.

Whitecloud is listed as out month-to-month, and Howden has been played on long-term injured reserve.

Best case scenario, with Marchessault, Eichel, and Theodore back, soon the Golden Knights lineup could potentially look something like this.

Chandler Stephenson- Jack Eichel- Mark Stone

Jonathan Marchessault- William Karlsson- Reilly Smith

Michael Amadio- Jake Leschyshyn- Phil Kessel

Will Carrier- Nicolas Roy- Keegan Kolesar

Nicolas Hague- Alex Pietrangelo

Brayden McNabb- Shea Theodore

Alec Martinez- Daniil Miromanov
